Nick and Tamir perform Loftus Jones by Turlough O'Carolan (1670 - 1738), an Irish composer.
This particular performance was recorded on May 8, 2009 at our Spring Recital. Nick and Tamir were seniors in high school. Because they had been busy with things like prom, athletics, AP Exams, etc., this performance was the first time they had seen each other in several weeks. Although they prepared individually in lessons with Darin, Nick and Tamir rehearsed together about an hour before the performance. Darin Au and Ian O'Sullivan filled in on the 3rd and 4th guitar parts. This was the first time they had all played together in rehearsal or in performance. Nick and Tamir studied continuously at 7th Fret ten and twelve years respectively until they both left for mainland colleges.
